LyondellBasell has successfully developed an enhanced version of its well- established Hostalen CRP 100 black HDPE grade. This improved LyondellBasell PE 100 grade – now available under the name Hostalen CRP 100 RESIST CR Black - has been developed to address the customers who utilize non-conventional pipe installation methods, where a superior resistance to stress cracking is required. Tests have shown that Hostalen CRP 100 RESIST CR Black product can withstand the full notch creep test for more than one year (according to the ISO16770 test conditions - 4MPa, 80°C, 2% Arkopal N100) and fulfils the requirements of PAS 1075. Hostalen CRP 100 RESIST CR Black grade exhibits significant break-resistance improvements compared to standard PE 100 resin performance.
